Ditch or Date seen on new BBC2 series

'Passion Never Dies' - BBC2 Friday 30 July.

We asked some time ago for ladies of the more mature variety to come forward to feature in a documentary which celebrates the sexy image of the single ‘older' woman. Passion Never Dies follows such a group having the time of their lives. Pam, a Ditch or Date speed dater from the north east of England takes one of the three leading roles. The documentary goes out this Friday 30th July at 9.00 on BBC2 and gets ‘don't miss' and ‘pick of the day' ratings in the TV guides. It's sure to be well worth watching as Pam is quite a character!

Part of the programme follows Pam taking part in a Ditch or Date speed dating event in the search for a toy boy to become her Mr Right. Even though not finding him first time around on that evening, Pam is now making her wedding plans with Phil, who she was introduced to through a Ditch or Date event. We would like to offer our congratulations to both of them. We always knew we would need to buy a hat sooner or later! We have also heard rumours that others of you are getting on pretty well too, don't be shy in sharing your stories, they make us feel all warm and gooey inside!
