People who go speed dating are people looking to meet someone in a fun, relaxed and genuine way. Some have busy work lives, some are newly single, some are shy online daters who prefer meeting face-to-face, and others simply want a refreshing alternative to dating apps. At our events, you’ll meet people of different backgrounds, personalities and life experiences — all with one thing in common: they’re open to making real connections. All of our events are arranged into age bands so that no age is left out. We want to include and welcome all ages. Some people come hoping to find love, others come to build confidence, make new friends, or enjoy a great night out. Whether you’re outgoing or nervous, a first-timer or a seasoned dater, everyone is welcome. Speed dating isn’t about being perfect. It’s about chemistry, conversation, laughter, and giving yourself the chance to meet someone you may never have crossed paths with otherwise.
It depends on the event. All of our events are arranged into specific age groups from 20s to 70s. Check our events page for all of our events and their age bands.
The age range is a guideline only, if you are slightly under or above the age limit you are still welcome to attend. However, if you are, or appear to be, significantly outside of the age range then you are unlikely to get a match which we wouldn't want to happen to you.
